Fuad Mawlanay was born in the city of Sanandaj in 1976, he attended primary and intermediate schools in the city of Mahaabad. Since his childhood, he was keen to different fields of arts, while he was at the fourth class of Priamary School, he has worked on writing poems and stories for kids. He has also continued and made progress in the field of painting, calligraphy and theatre. During which he was at third class of intermediate school, he was known as a comic actor in the field of theatre, then he joined the central TV Kurdistan in the city of Sanandaj. Mr.Abassi Kamandi, who was supervising theater actions, urged Mawlanay to sing.
At the same year Fuad worked hard on his sound for singing and experienced different kinds of singing. A year after they returned to the city of Mahabad, Fuad started to use music instruments as he chose different kind of music instruments to play like dump instrument for learning rythem and Nai instrument for recognizing the sounds. After 6 months, he was able to play Nai instrument which is difficult than the other instruments, because you should first make sounds and then train on the sounds. He was soon able to work on persion and Kurdish melodies. So for further training, he attended a music theory course.
Teacher Sheikh Aqay was his first teacher.
Teacher Ahmadi Abdull, who was the most lovable teacher of Fuad in the city of Mahabad.
He has recorded several products with the Nai instrument in the Muhabad TV in 1993.
He participated in the Tehran international Fajir festival along with Karwan Music group in 1994, which he has used Nai as Kurdish Nai for the first time which is a Persian instrument. Thus he proved himself in that field.
A year later he was awarded first prize of the best Nai player in the Azerbaijan festival and he also received an honorable diploma in that festival.
He has been participating in that annual festival until 1997 who has achieved experience and was familiar to the music of different ethnicities from Iran and outside Iran, during 1998-1999 he has held various concerts in the cities of Iran as Nai player and music distributor in the Hazhar Mukryani groups whom he established it as well as in the Nishtiman group.
Some times he had works as a Kurdish and Persian singer in the concerts.
His first Kurdish song, that he himself made the music and distributed it, was the “Kona Hawar” song; he wrote the poem in 2000, he recorded it in 2002 ,in the same year the song which participated in the Kurdsat competition ,won 8 prizes.
